Marc Heredia, Klavier

Recognized by the critics as one of the most exciting talents of his generation, Marc Heredia began studying piano at the age of three and continued his studies with Cecilio Tieles in the Liceo Conservatory of Music in Barcelona where he concluded his Bachellor Degree with the highest marks. He also received lessons from pianist Jose Enrique Bagaria. Later, between 2008 and 2012 he continued his studies at the "Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia" with professor Dimitri Bashkirov. After this, he moved to Basel, where he completed a Master of Arts in the "Hochschule für Musik Basel”, Switzerland, with Professor Claudio Martínez Mehner, obtainig the máximum qualifications in his master recital.
He has performed extensively throughout Europe, giving recitals both as a soloist and chamber musician, in concert halls such as the "Auditorio Nacional" and the "Fundación Juan March" of Madrid, the "Palau de la Música" of Barcelona, the Cloister of Sant Domenech in Peralada, and the Pau Casals Auditorium in El Vendrell.
As a soloist with orchestra, he has performed in concert halls such as the “Auditori” in Barcelona, the Mozart hall Auditorium of Zaragoza and Madrid Congress Palace among others. He has also appeared in festivals such as the series Soloists of the 21st century in the Sony Auditorium Madrid, and the Ibercamera Concert Season.
His concerts have been recorded and broadcast many times on the radio “Classic Radio” and “Catalonia Music” and he has also appeared several times in Spanish television.
